Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Monte Carlo, Baden-Baden, London, Moscow… Have you been to the best casinos in the world yet? Well it’s about time.

Back in the day casinos were oriented towards pure gambling and pretty much ignored every other aspect of accommodations that the average player, not to mention high rollers, might want or need. Since the 60’s however, the casinos began to expand their appeal and providing much more incentives to draw the players.

Nowadays, every casino offers many appealing accommodations and entertaining attractions. The casinos have realized that it is not enough to have many Blackjack tables or large Poker rooms - it’s what’s around them that count. Those attractions (free drinks, floor shows, buffets) are the things that make the players come to a certain casino and more than that, it what makes them stay and even come back.
Here are the best and most luxurious casinos in the world, according to Forbes magazine. These are the casinos every highroller needs to be familiar with.

Casino Baden-Baden, Baden-Baden, Germany
The Baden-Baden casino, or as it’s locally called, the Kurhaus, west across the Oosbach River, is Germany’s oldest and largest casino. The right wing of the Korhaus is where the casino itself while his left wing contains a high-classed restaurant looking out over the gardens. The casino first opened in 1809 changed owners and was shut down during both world wars. Marlene Dietrich has referred to it as the most beautiful casino in the world.

Casino de Monte Carlo, Monaco
Monte Carlo has been associated with gambling since Prince Charles III of Monaco first opened the casino in 1863. Casino Monte Carlo became a big attraction for royalty and business tycoons. It was designed by the architect of the Paris opera house, Charles Garnier. The casino lobby features a marble-paved atrium that contains 28 Ionic columns as well as beautiful gold and bronze ornaments. Within the casino are 35 roulette, blackjack and craps tables, and 315 slot machines. If private room action is what you’re looking for be sure to wear a jacket and tie.

The Clermont Club, London, United Kingdom
The Clermont Club is one of the most exclusive clubs in London, which is located in Berkley Square. The law in London states that in order to enter a casino one must apply for a membership at least 24 hours in advance, which can be a hassle but is definitely worth it. The casino was bought in 1972 by Playboy and later sold off. Today the club features six tables for blackjack, baccarat and English roulette.

St. James Club, Antigua
This high-end establishment is located on a 100 acre private peninsula surrounded by the sea at three sides of the resort. There are many options beside the casino for visitors of the St. James Club, such as discos, yacht and boat rides, and great restaurants and of course the beautiful beaches. The casino itself offers 55 slot machines and 5 poker, roulette and blackjack tables.

Atlantis Resort, Bahamas
The Atlantis Resort is home to the largest casino in the Caribbean and also to one of the most expensive hotel suites in the world! It’s “Bridge suite” costs $25,000 per night. The casino has fantastic panoramic view of the whole resort and features 80 gaming tables including blackjack, craps, baccarat, roulette and Caribbean stud poker and also almost a thousand slot machines.

Mandarin Oriental, Macau, China
Macau, that was once a Portuguese colony is now governed by China, is widely supported by the revenues of its gambling industry. While the Mandarin Oriental is not the largest casino in Macau (which is the Hotel Lisboa) it is the more upscale and less crowded one. The luxurious hotel has a 24-hour casino with 11 gaming tables of blackjack, roulette and Baccarat and has 60 slot machines.

Sun City, Sun City, South Africa
The beautiful piece of Vegas in the African prairie is called Sun City resort. Containing four hotels, safaris, Private Park, golf and even a wave pool. The most luxurious area of the resort is The Palace of the Lost City. However, most of the gambling takes place in the Sun city Hotel. The casino has 40 roulette, poker, blackjack and punto blanco and 850 slot machines. For beginners and out of luck folk, a gaming school is available to help you out…

Casino Metropol, Moscow, Russia

The Casino Metropol is of course on of those, part of the Hotel Metropol, which is located in the vicinity of the Kremlin and the Red Square. You can enjoy the 11 blackjack, poker and roulette tables 24 hours a day for a minimum stake of $25 while dressed in business attire only.
