For lovers, the ultimate ode is the Taj Mahal. The Barbara Mori and Hrithik Roshan romance has been written about, but so far it has done nothing but create trouble for the Kites co-stars.
Mumbai Mirror gazed into the crystal ball and saw Barbara and Hrithik at the monument of love in Agra in March. The prophecy also says that they obviously will be seen together, very much in love.
And the intimate moment, unfortunately, shall find its way into the press. It might confirm the now on-off romance but nevertheless it has tremendous potential to work in the film’s favour, if the makers are smart about it.
Of course, the film’s publicity is slated to begin only a few weeks prior to the film’s release on May 21. But no one grudges two people in love a quiet moment in the moonlit shadow of the Taj Mahal.
However, Rakesh Roshan, the director of Kites, says, “It’s not true. Barbara will be in India only around May 8.” |

The hundreds of tabloid reports regarding the alleged romance and the dozen smooches between Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori have been wasted. The ‘hot hot hot’ sex scene between the duo in ‘Kites’ has been completely chopped off.
The decision was taken by Rakesh Roshan, the producer of ‘Kites’ so as to avoid clashes with the Censor Board. Hollywood director Brett Ratner, who was hired to edit the film also supported Roshan’s decision but advised him to retain the scene for the English version of the film. “The film has an English as well as a Hindi version. As the intimate scenes between Hrithik and Barbara are way too bold for the Indian audience, Brett asked Rakesh Roshan to either completely delete or at least water down the passionate scenes in the Hindi version.” a source said”, “Brett Ratner was especially called to re-edit ‘Kites’. He was got in to cater to the international audience. Being an expert, Ratner gave his suggestion as he understands the mindset of the Indian audience very well. Also, the intimate scenes between Hrithik and Barbara should not become the talk of the town especially after rumours of their alleged affair. Rakesh Roshan is now making the necessary changes.” |
